A gray scale postcard of Main Street, Greenport, LI. It was sent to Miss Mary H. Huntting N.C, from Southold on November 28, 1920. Written on the back; " Dear Folks- It was midnight when we reached home from the " big town" pictured on the other side after a fine Thanksgiving meal tell you more about it if I ever write the letter I've wanted to and hope soon too. This is just to let you know we are all well. Mother came over and got dinner for James. Miss Mattie is in the city until Monday. Anne Russell is helping the Daytons. Hope Uncle Frank is OK now and all of you like wise. Say Auntie carpliorated oil applied on cotton wrapped toothpick the greatest thing for C C head. Love all Moe(?)" |
